For ages 5+
Camp runs from 9am-4pm
Drop off between 9am-9:15am, pick up between 3:45pm-4pm
Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle
FRIDAY: Pizza lunch provided

What do we do at camp?

Stretch and warm up
Practice techniques, self defense, & kata
Take breaks to have snacks, socialize, and play games
Build sparring and chanbara (padded sword) skills
Go to a park for outdoor time
Non-karate games and crafts
Learn how to use a traditional karate weapon (bo staff or nunchuks)

What to bring to camp?

Snacks, lunch, water bottle
Karate uniform (new students will need to purchase)
Positive attitude

Are you registering a camper who is not an enrolled karate student?

New campers who are not currently karate students will need to attend a short introductory lesson to ensure they are comfortable in our class environment. Additionally, they will be required to purchase a Promar Karate uniform, which we are offering at a special discounted rate of $50 (regular $75)

A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50 is required for each child you are registering and for each week of camp you are registering for (e.g. $50 for 1 week of camp, $100 for 2 weeks). The remaining camp balance is due the first day of camp but you’re welcome to pay for the whole camp upon registration if that works best for you.

How to register:

Please fill out the form below and we will get back to you within 1-2 business days to confirm your spot in camp. You can send your deposit to “hello@promarkarate.ca”, pay in the dojo, or (for current students) we can put it on your account.

I UNDERSTAND THAT MARTIAL ARTS CAN INVOLVE CONTACT. The sports and activities at Promar Karate can involve physical contact and other potential risks. Because of the conditions inherent to sports and some of the activities, participating in these may pose the risk of injury (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death). I hereby for myself, my heirs and assigns, administrator or executor, and/or personal representative, waive, discharge, forever release and hold harmless Promar Karate and its instructors, employees, representatives, and fellow students from any and all liability.

UNMANAGEABLE, INAPPROPRIATE AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR Promar Karate reserves the right to remove a child from camp, without refund, if their behaviour or the behaviour of their parent(s) is deemed to be unmanageable, inappropriate, and/or is dangerous to themselves or others, in which case the camper will be sent home immediately. Bullying, in any form, will not be tolerated.

I GIVE PERMISSION FOR MY CHILD TO PARTICIPATE AT PROMAR KARATE. I hereby permit the Staff of Promar Karate to render such medical and hospital care as, in their judgment, may seem advisable for my child. To make the activities as safe as possible including the equipment and facilities, the coaches and leaders have a basic knowledge of safety and will impart this to the participants in order to try and ensure the safest and most enjoyable setting. It is vital that participants follow the instructions, training rules, and policies implemented for to decrease the possibility of serious injury. I understand that this is a physical activity and every precaution will be taken for my child’s safety.
